It’s uncommon for one to name Bangladesh as a land that’s surrounded with amazing food. However, when I went there for the first time, it definitely struck me as a land filled with mystery and love. Its busy streets, rocky buses, and amazing fresh markets give the whole environment a fantastic ambiance.

One might think summer is the best time to visit Bangladesh, but it’s actually winter that shows the country’s beautiful secrets. Bangladesh is the one land that possess the most delicious street foods and a country that enjoys great yogurt and delicious “Chai.”

My personal favorite would be “Fuschka.” It’s a plate of fried pasties filled with green chilies and onions that is dipped into a hot bowl of spicy tamarind sauce. This dish warms you up immediately and leaves you craving more. The best thing to accompany this plate would be a delicious cup of “chai.”

However, if you’re not one to enjoy spices then “Bhapa Pittas” would be the next best alternative. A sweet pastry that’s steamed and eaten hot accompanied with brown sugar and coconuts shreds would be the perfect winter food. It tastes exactly like sponge cake, only lighter and more aromatic. The best place to purchase it would in the street carts or to ask a Bengali cook to make it for you.

There are many delicious cuisines for foodies who are willing to explore beautiful country of Bangladesh. If you’re there take a trip to Cox Bazaar, one of the longest beaches in the world, you definitely won’t regret it.
